FFGC DISTRICT VI EXTENDS INVITATION TO
- 2009 CONVENTION "THE SANDS OF TIME"
Oh,
you have to love an early Spring, on the way up to Pensacola to attend
the 2008 82nd State Convention,
the roads through the woods are as likely to have flocks of robins
making their way north or trees of dogwoods
in bloom. The journey up Highway 98 heading to Pensacola was a
wonder, something around each curve or bend in the raod to make you
appreciate this wonderful time of the year Spring.
All 351 in attendance enjoyed the
wonderful State Flower
Show, Workshops, & great speakers . Attending from District
VI, were: Karen Hall, Pat Morgart, Peggy Nuse, Doris Young,
Barbara Willey, Shirley Marconyak, Louise Bennett, Jo Compton, Gloria
Blake, Betty Moxley, Evelyn Fraley, & Ann Tate.
Bringing home
the blue ribbons from the flower show were: Karen Hall, Gloria
Blake, Louise Bennett & Pat Morgart.
